Bailey | Children’s Corner Patterns

This pattern has officially become my favorite pattern for summer 💙 There are so many different ways to sew it that you can’t ever get bored with it! I’ve sewn it twice in both View A and View B and have loved both. The first view I did was the bubble version. I sewed this one up in January in a size 24 month for my now 20 month old. I did have to move the buttons up since he wasn’t quite in a size 24 months in ready to wear and I wanted it to last through the summer. I love the fit since it’s so bubbly. I opted to leave the loop off of the back and have had zero issues with the straps falling.

This one is sewn in Fabric Finders seersucker with fleur-de-lis crawfish that I have hoarded for years not knowing what to do with it. This pattern was perfect for it. I opted to embroider a sweet crawfish design from Jack & Mack on Etsy on the bib.

Honestly, I’m a bubble kind of gal and I just wasn’t sure I was going to love view B {My oldest outgrew bubbles before he was even two, so I’m embracing the thigh rolls here as long as I can}….

Ya’ll….how sweet is this pattern? I did decide to size down to an 18 month size so the bib was a little smaller and I. AM. IN. LOVE!

I used a waffle pique for the bib and trimmed it in imperial micro check in light blue. Embroidery design is from The Classic Appliqué on Etsy. Last, but certainly not least, that super sweet pirate fabric is from Sarah Jane Studios for Michael Miller, Out to Sea. If you haven’t gotten this pattern, do it!
